HOTEL INFORMATION & PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OVERVIEW
The 2012 annual meeting of the SSAWW will be held at the Westin Denver Downtown. 1627 Lawrence Street, Denver, CO 80202
The Westin Denver Downtown is located in the heart of Denver’s 16th Street Mall, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, shopping, and museums.
Driving Directions from Denver International Airport to the Westin Denver owntown:
Exit the Airport onto Pena Blvd heading south.
Follow Pena Blvd to Interstate 70 West (a left entrance onto the highway).
Take Interstate 70 West to Interstate 25 South.
Take the exit for Speer Boulevard South (#212A).
Continue on Speer to Lawrence and turn left
The hotel is on the right side of Lawrence (1627 Lawrence street)
Denver’s bus system, the Regional Transportation District (RTD), runs the SkyRide bus service between the DIA and downtown’s Market Street Station (route AF). Fare is $11.00 one-way. Note: Bus drivers take exact fare only. If you prefer to buy tickets early, they can be purchased online: http://store.rtdpasses.com/
Passengers will be dropped off and picked on the 6th level, East terminal only. A special loading area will be set up across from door #605. Note: Denver International Airport is currently under expansive construction, so you may want to check the website for changes in pick-up location.
Once you have reached Market Street Station, there are free shuttles that run constantly up and down the 16th Street Mall; exit the bus at the Lawrence street stop:

Shuttles run about every 15 minutes, from 8am through 5:30pm, and less frequently at other times.

DIA is served by most major car rental companies. Rental car counters are in the main terminal at the airport. Free shuttles provide transportation to rental car pick up. For more information: http://flydenver.com/rentalcars
